The Kwinana Youth Impact Grants give young people aged 12 to 24 years the chance to grow, get involved, and make an impact, whether that’s through hosting an event, developing new skills, or representing Kwinana on a bigger stage.
Grant Amounts:
- Up to $500 for individuals
- Up to $1,000 for groups
Grant Focus Areas
The Kwinana Youth Impact Grants support projects in four key areas:
- Events / Activations / Programs
Run something that brings people together, like a community event, workshop, or creative project.
- State / National Representation
Heading away to represent Kwinana or WA in sport, arts, or recreation? This grant can help with costs.
- Personal / Professional Development
Want to upskill or boost your future career? Apply for funding for training, courses, or leadership opportunities.
- Environmental and Sustainability.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Live, work, or go to school in the City of Kwinana
- Be aged between 12 and 24 years
- Not received a Kwinana Youth Impact Grant in the last six months
Applications must be submitted at least six weeks prior to the intended use of the funding.
Applicants are required to meet with the Youth Development Team at The Zone Youth Space before funding is approved. This meeting will provide an opportunity to discuss your application in greater detail.
Successful applicants who wish to reapply within a six-month period are encouraged to contact the Youth Development Team on 9236 4550 or via email at youthdev@kwinana.wa.gov.au to discuss next steps.
